The original painting was create by local artist Katie Alleva in 2014. Made with ink and acrylic on canvas. 60 x 60 cm.

'I woke up and happened to look out the front window with my son and we spotted a misty morning cloud hovering at the base on Mount Chincogan. It was my first day working in my new studio in Mullumbimby. I could see Mount Chincogan from my studio.

I painted this work 'au plein air' in ink and acrylic. I remember feeling a strong connection to the mountain and the atmosphere around it.'
